KS Series Units are Designed for: Factories, Schools, Nursing Homes, Motels, Hotels, Restaurants, Apartments, Mobile Home Parks, Laundries, Car Washes, Hospitals, Office Buildings
Features:
- Rugged, Solid Brass, Motorized Piston Valve. 2" inlet / outlet, 6 cycle with timed brine refill. Can be programmed to recharge during low demand periods. Built in bypass. Similar in construction to residential units with many parts interchangeable.
- Heavy Duty Fiberglass Mineral Tank. Never will rust or corrode. Built to operate at 150 psi.
- High Capacity Ion Exchange Resin. Stable and uniform, the resin assures excellent exchange capacity and long life.
- Full Flow Riser Tube. Compatible with service pipe size. Assures adequate flow rate with minimal pressure drop.
- MacCLEAN Distribution System. Designed to evenly collect treated water to insure maximum resin efficiency and even backwashing.
- Quartz Gravel Under-bed. Provides drainage to reduce pressure drop and eliminate channeling.
- Commercial Air Check. Standard on 7 cubic foot models. Safety Brine Valve is available on smaller units.
- High Impact Salt Storage Tank. Heavy duty polyethylene brine producer, with large capacity, reduces frequency of salt refill.
- Salt Support Assembly. Made from corrosion resistant materials. Allows use of any type water softener salt, which saves many dollars over the years. Also minimizes salt "mushing" and cleanings of the brine tank.
